The 177H0124 is a decentralized drive unit produced by Danfoss and assigned to the FCD 300 Micro Drives series. It functions as a compact variable-frequency controller that mounts close to the motor, allowing speed regulation and torque control directly in processing lines and conveyor systems without long shielded cabling. In automation cells, the drive forms part of the local control layer and frees main cabinet space by moving the power electronics closer to the machine. By placing the inverter near the driven equipment, motor cable runs stay short and the installation remains easier to route through compact production areas.
This model is rated for a three-phase supply of 3x380-480 V, so it can be wired to common low-voltage industrial networks. Its electrical section delivers 0.75 kW, which corresponds to a mechanical shaft output of 1.0 HP. An electromagnetic compatibility stage is included, and the drive has an integral 1 A filter that attenuates conducted emissions on the mains conductors. Communication wiring is simplified because the electronics are supplied without fieldbus communication, so control is handled through local service tools or digital I/O in standalone installations. The available power is suitable for small pumps, mixers, conveyors, and other compact motor-driven equipment that does not require a large central drive.
The product is intended for processing applications where space and hygiene are important. A sealed housing contains the control board, and the unit has no display; status is indicated by discrete LEDs instead of a text panel. The sealed enclosure helps protect the internal electronics from general plant contamination and routine splash exposure around the machine. It uses the standard configuration, so no optional encoder interfaces or application-specific boards are fitted. Remote supervision through a central PLC can be used when local visualization is not required, which suits systems that already use a higher-level operator interface.
