IKL0263 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKL0263 cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the IKL Control Cables series. It is intended for stationary power interconnection between drive controllers and servomotor assemblies in automated machinery. By combining power cores and designated contact positions inside one engineered sheath, the cable helps streamline cabinet wiring, conserve panel space, and maintain predictable electrical performance in industrial plants. Its dimensional and material properties suit fixed routing in cable trays, junction boxes, and machine conduits where continuous flexing is not expected.

Electrical power is carried through 4 × 10.0 mm² copper conductors, giving the assembly sufficient ampacity for medium-frame servomotors. At the mating end, the connector provides 3 + PE power pins so each phase and the protective earth can reach the drive without external jumpers. Those pins use a solder termination style, which provides a secure joint and low contact resistance. The cable has an outer diameter of 17.5 mm, which is useful when sizing glands, clips, and conduit. Conductor insulation can withstand 80 °C so routing beside warm brake resistors or transformers remains within the temperature limit. Seven control contact positions of 1.5 mm² are available in the connector, but the cable body does not include auxiliary signal pairs, so feedback lines must be routed separately.

The sheath is made of PUR, a material that resists cutting, abrasion, and the gear oils common to hydraulic presses. Its high-visibility RAL 2003 (Orange) color makes the cable easier to identify in densely routed installations. For fixed installation, the minimum bend radius is 4 × D, which helps prevent jacket damage when the cable turns around tray corners. The design is not approved for drag-chain duty cycles. Fire performance is improved by a halogen-free compound that limits toxic gas release and supports use in facilities with strict safety requirements.
