IKL0261 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The IKL0261 belongs to the IKL Control Cables series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a ready-to-install cable that links a drive controller to its corresponding motor in stationary industrial automation layouts, carrying phase current and sensor lines without the need for on-site connector assembly. The cable's materials, temperature rating, and resistance features allow reliable service inside machining centers, packaging equipment, and other fixed-mount installations where hydraulic oil or emulsions may be present.

Four power cores with a cross-section of 4x2.5 mm² provide adequate ampacity while keeping conductor losses low. The PUR outer sheath measures 10.6 mm in diameter and maintains flexibility for cabinet routing. When permanently laid, the cable may be bent down to a radius of 42.4 mm without damaging insulation or conductors. Copper strands are rated for continuous operation up to 80 °C, supporting enclosure temperatures found near servo drives. The sheath is made of PUR, a material that withstands cutting oils and cleaning agents; in addition, the cable is oil- and grease-resistant, hydrolysis-resistant, halogen-free, and silicone-free, so it can be used in paint lines and food-grade zones that restrict corrosive halogens or silicone outgassing.

The assembly is produced from INK0343 bulk cable, terminated on the controller side with an AEH angled plug and on the motor side with an INS0681 circular connector, eliminating field crimping errors. Its jacket is colored Orange (RAL 2003) for quick identification among mixed cable bundles. Shielding is not included, so the routed length should avoid high-frequency interference sources. Because the structure is not suitable for drag-chain motion, it must be installed in fixed or infrequently moved conduits. Despite the absence of metallic shielding, the cable's PUR sheath, hydrolysis resistance, oil resistance, and halogen-free formulation help maintain electrical integrity.
