DI4-M-PRO/10 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The DI4-M-PRO/10 is an operator display manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BODAS Displays series. It is intended as a front-end human-machine interface in mobile machinery and industrial equipment, where it presents controller data, status messages, and machine graphics while accepting finger input through its glass touch surface. The unit is designed for dashboard or panel mounting so that equipment manufacturers can combine visualization, diagnostics, and parameter entry in one sealed component that communicates directly with vehicle control units over fieldbus or Ethernet links.

The TFT panel measures 7 in on the diagonal, provides a resolution of 800 x 480 px, and reaches up to 500 cd/m2 of luminance so graphics stay visible in outdoor daylight. A capacitive touch layer registers multi-point gestures, and the i.MX6 Solo processor, clocked at 800 MHz, renders screens without lag. Application code and media files reside in a flash array of 2 GByte, while the operating system and run-time buffers occupy 512 MByte of RAM. Two digital low-side drivers rated 12 V / 300 mA each can switch warning lamps or buzzers directly, and overload protection is provided by an external 5 A blade fuse placed in the supply line. Typical power draw is 16 W during backlight operation. An internal real-time clock keeps timestamps for 500 h on its super-capacitor reserve so log files remain consistent after power loss. Two composite video inputs accept PAL or NTSC camera feeds for rear-view or tool monitoring.

The display includes several communication and service interfaces for vehicle networking and local data access. Vehicle networks connect through 2 x CAN 2.0B ports that support standard and extended identifiers. High-level diagnostics and data exchange can be performed over Ethernet at 10/100 Mbit/s. A front-accessible Type-A receptacle provides USB 2.0 connectivity for data logging, configuration import, or wireless adapters.
