EHA-CON-201-A-20 by Vickers

The EHA-CON-201-A-20 is a compact power-supply and signal-conditioning module produced by Vickers within the EHA Power Supplies series. It is intended for industrial automation racks where it furnishes stable reference voltages and processes analog command signals for actuators, drives, or control cards. By combining supply regulation with fault signaling, the unit helps maintain deterministic operation of connected equipment on a DIN rail without adding separate converter boards. Its combined format also supports compact rack layouts where power conversion and analog interfacing need to remain in one enclosure.

The module operates from a nominal input of 24 V DC, yet it remains functional anywhere between 18-36 V DC, allowing tolerance for battery or bus fluctuations. Internal electronics draw only 6 W, minimizing heat inside enclosures. Field controllers can feed it with voltage or current commands because the front terminals accept 0-10 V / 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA. These commands are reissued as a regulated ±10 V DC output for downstream drivers. Incoming power may carry ripple, and the circuit withstands plus-or-minus 10 percent peak to peak without performance loss. Installation is direct onto DIN EN 50022 or 50035 rails, which keeps cabinet assembly simple. When a fault is detected, the error channel provides a dedicated switching signal, and the regulated output is automatically grounded so external devices are not driven unexpectedly. That behavior gives the connected control system a predictable state during abnormal operation.

An auxiliary rail delivers +15 V 50 mA to sensors, while a precision reference of +10 V 5 mA is available for potentiometer feedback loops. Continuous service is specified for ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 °C, and storage allowance extends down to -25 °C and up to 85 °C. The housing meets IP20, indicating finger-safe construction without additional gasketing. All functions are retained whether the unit is mounted horizontally or vertically, provided convection space is respected. This mounting flexibility helps the module fit shallow cabinets and mixed-density control panels where rail direction can vary between sections.
