For position transducers, the board furnishes an LVDT excitation of +15 V, with up to 50 mA available, removing the need for a separate sensor supply. Thermal design supports continuous operation from 0 to 50 °C, and within this range no derating of drive capability is required. These built-in functions reduce the need for separate support circuitry and help keep cabinet wiring more compact.
