The Vickers EEA-PAM Power Amplifiers series is a modular group of Eurocard-format electronic amplifiers developed for controlling proportional hydraulic valves in a range of machine-control applications. Depending on the version, these amplifiers support voltage or current reference signals, use a 24 VDC power supply, and include onboard adjustment points for functions such as offset, gain, ramp timing, and signal shaping. Some models are intended for straightforward proportional valve actuation, while others add closed-loop capability with PID control, transducer feedback handling, and expanded tuning functions for more demanding hydraulic regulation. The product line also includes variants with added logic features and configurable response behavior, allowing the amplifier to be matched more closely to the valve and motion requirements of the system. Taken together, the series serves as a flexible electronic interface between machine control signals and proportional hydraulic valve operation in rack-based installations.
