The SANMOTION Stepping Motors series features 42 mm square, 2-phase motors with a 1.8� step angle, offered in both unipolar and bipolar versions. Unipolar models provide holding torque from 0.22 to 0.58 N�m, while bipolar models span 0.29 to 0.8 N�m. Overall length varies from 33 to 59.5 mm, phase current is 1 to 1.2 A, and phase inductance ranges from 2.4 to 16 mH. Rotor inertia falls between 0.031 and 0.094 x 10^-6 kg�m�, and weight ranges from 0.23 to 0.51 kg. Compared with earlier models, acoustic noise drops by about 3 to 5 dB, a clear benefit for quiet applications such as medical devices. Efficiency improves by roughly 2%, enabled by refined stator core design and optimized winding spaces, resulting in cooler operation (around 10�C lower) and about 10% lower power consumption, which can extend equipment life. A 42 mm flange and familiar mounting scheme allow easy drop-in integration. Built for automated production, the series streamlines manufacturing and supports consistent quality across volume builds. Optimized magnetic circuits and high-flux magnets also deliver a 10 to 15% increase in torque.
