Introducing the 6415 Microstep Drive series from Pacific Scientific. These drives feature integral ramped oscillator cards capable of controlling a wide range of voltages using a voltage-controlled oscillator (VOC) and related control wires. The oscillator cards provide step and direction command outputs to drive the motor efficiently. The 6415 Drive converts step and direction signals into motor winding currents, enabling full control over two-phase stepper motors. Key features include independent acceleration and deceleration, facilitating rapid programming of high RPMs. Additional features include bipolar chopping, microstepping, digital electronic damping, short circuit protection, bus overvoltage coverage, dual independent run speeds, internal and external speed command options, and an enabled LED indicator.
