The 6410 series of drives, manufactured by Pacific Scientific, converts step and direction signals into motor winding currents to control two-phase stepper motors. These drives feature a DIP-selectable rated output current ranging from 0.625Amps to 5Amps, capable of supplying regulated phase currents for supply voltages from 24VDC to 75VDC. Key features of the 6410 series include mid-band instability compensation for smooth operation, high resolutions in mid-band and low-speed resonance regions, and microstepping capabilities. These award-winning drives also include bipolar chopping, digital electronic damping, short circuit protection, MOSFET power devices, and optically isolated signal interfaces.
