Okuma servo drives are employed across a wide spectrum of industries crucial to the global economy. They are capable of controlling single or multiple axes and typically consist of a power board, an optional control board, and a base drive unit. Encoders send signals from the motor to the drive, which are then relayed to a processor or control board. The control board processes these signals, makes decisions based on them, and sends new commands back to the drive. The drive subsequently executes these commands, directing the attached motor or connected axes accordingly.
