The SXP-228A proximity sensor by Okuma is part of the E4809 CNC Boards series. It offers an 8 mm sensing distance, PNP normally open output, 10–30 VDC operation, and load currents up to 200 mA. Its brass nickel-plated housing delivers IP67 protection plus short-circuit and polarity protection for reliable operation. Designed for flush mounting with a 2 m cable, it supports switching frequencies up to 500 Hz.
