The E4809-907-022 from Okuma features a multi-layer PCB and plug-in modular mounting. Part of the E4809 CNC Boards, it supports digital and analog I/O at 24 V DC with safety firmware. It uses Altera FLEX FPGA (EPF6016AQC208) and an SJA1000 CAN controller.
DeviceNet communication is handled by XB-DN1 and XB-DN2 and RS-232 via an ADM202 line driver. A DIP switch block enables manual address and mode selection. Built-in diagnostics ensure reliability under industrial temperature, vibration, and EMI stress.
