The SMC-1400 drive from Kollmorgen is part of the SMC Motion Stepper Drives series. It offers cutting accuracy of ±0.2mm for lengths up to 1000mm and ±0.1% for longer sheets, reaches a maximum speed of 300 m/min and operates on a 3P/380V/50Hz supply. The closed-loop stepper motor drive with Siemens PLC control supports position and speed control modes and communicates via Ethernet/IP or Profibus. It handles sheets up to 1500 mm high and weighs 23 000 kg.
