The Kollmorgen 3EF-50 from the Mains EMI Filters series is a robust plug-in RFI line filter designed for industrial automation environments. It features a rated voltage of 480 VAC and a rated filter current of 50 A, operating across a frequency range of 0-60 Hz. The compact unit measures 310 x 75 x 35 mm and mounts via 2 plug connectors DIN 41612, type E48. Its power factor is 0.8 and it delivers 20 kW pulse power for 5 s. A minimum ballast resistor of 3.3 Ohms (1 kg ballast) supports 500 W continuous power with forced cooling. Suitable for 3T8,0-310 or 3T10-310 transformers, it functions reliably between -10°C and +40°C.
