The Kollmorgen M.1015.7990 servo motor from the HSM Brushless Servo Motors series features an IP65 environmental rating and watertight MS connections and is available in five frame sizes with twelve models. It delivers continuous torque of 5 to 450 lb·in (0.5 to 50 Nm) and achieves speeds up to 6000 RPM thanks to its low-inertia neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet rotor. The integrated 2000-quadrature-pulse optical encoder provides precise position feedback, while the internal thermal switch offers overload protection. Interchangeable with HSM400/HSM600 motors and equipped with optional shaft seal kit and spring-set brakes, this unit is ideal for demanding industrial motion-control tasks.
