Designed to protect motors against negative impacts from variable frequency drives, the KEB Z2 Three Phase Motor Choke Series delivers controlled impedance, reducing PWM voltage spikes that cause accelerated motor wear. These chokes minimize dV/dt stress, improving insulation reliability and preventing early breakdowns. Available in impedance options of 3% and 5%, the Z2 series caters to varying voltage class requirements up to 460V, making them suitable for numerous industrial setups and cable lengths. Their durable design handles overload currents up to double the rated load for brief intervals, maintaining performance even with occasional surges. Globally recognized safety certifications ensure adherence to high safety standards. Whether protecting motors in conveyor systems or injection molding machinery, the KEB Choke Series effectively counters reflected wave damage on extended motor cable connections, ensuring reduced downtime, extended motor lifespan, and overall system efficiency.
