The 10.G6.FLA-YM00 is a compact AC inverter manufactured by KEB and supplied within the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. Designed for machine-mounted use, this unit converts the fixed mains supply into a variable frequency and voltage output so an induction or synchronous motor can be regulated for speed or torque in automated processes. It functions as the drive end element between the control system and the motor, providing the pulse-width-modulated voltage needed for conveyors, pumps, or material-handling axes.

The inverter communicates with higher-level controllers through an EtherCAT bus interface, allowing real-time parameter access and status feedback. Its vector control loop starts producing output voltage at the corner frequency of 6 Hz, ensuring enough flux at very low speeds. An integrated braking transistor provides energy dissipation during rapid deceleration, and an internal EMC filter reduces conducted interference so no external line filter is needed. Protection on the mains side is matched to a gG fuse rated at 16 A. The power section can energize motors up to 2.2 kW under nominal conditions. For pulse generation, the power stage operates with carrier pulses up to 8 kHz; the rated switching frequency is identical, simplifying thermal calculations.

During continuous operation the inverter draws a three-phase AC line current of 8.0 A, or 5.2 A when powered from the intermediate DC link. It can deliver 5.8 A of sinusoidal output current, which corresponds to a rated apparent power of 4.0 kVA at the drive terminals. These current limits help the designer size cables, contactors, and thermal management hardware for the panel. The built-in STO safety function disconnects the gate drivers so no torque-producing energy reaches the motor when a stop command or safety event is triggered.
