The 09.G6.FDA-YM00 is a variable-speed inverter produced by KEB within the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. It serves as the power stage between a three-phase mains supply and an industrial motor, providing adjustable frequency and voltage so that conveyors, mixers, or pump drives can match process demand. Integrated safety (STO) and a built-in braking transistor shorten the component list inside a control cabinet while the internal line filter helps the unit meet conducted-emission limits without external hardware. It is suited to applications that need controlled acceleration, stable running, and controlled deceleration from a compact cabinet-mounted drive.

An analog monitor channel delivers up to 10 VDC, allowing the controller to transmit real-time speed or torque data to a PLC or chart recorder. The control electronics run from a galvanically isolated supply of 24 VDC (+20%/-15%) and draw no more than 400 mA, so a small auxiliary power supply is sufficient. System communication takes place over EtherCAT, giving deterministic cycle times for coordinated multi-axis motion. During fault conditions, the drive trips when output current reaches 216% of the rated value; this fast electronic cutoff limits thermal stress on the power stage. The analog output also supports simple external status monitoring when a separate display or recorder is used.

For peripheral signaling the inverter provides a relay that can switch up to 1 A at 30 VDC, which is useful for drive-healthy or fault annunciation. Short acceleration bursts are supported by a current limit of 180% for a few seconds, enabling rapid motor starts without nuisance trips. Power devices are clocked at a carrier frequency of 8 kHz, placing switching noise above the audible range and reducing motor torque ripple. The internal EMI filter keeps conducted noise below EN 61800-3 limits, and the STO circuit eliminates torque within milliseconds when the safety chain is opened.
