The 07.F5.B0A-UK04 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by KEB for the F5 Combivert Axis Drives series. It provides open-loop flux vector control so that induction motors can be started, stopped, and operated at adjustable speeds without mechanical throttling. By placing this drive between the mains supply and a 0.75 kW motor, users gain electronic control of conveyor, fan, or pump applications while keeping cabinet hardware compact. The control method regulates motor operation without requiring a dedicated feedback device, which supports straightforward use in applications that do not need closed-loop positioning.

This model accepts a line supply of 260 VAC at an input current of 8.2 A, and its internal circuitry has an IP20 protection rating for installation inside a ventilated panel. The inverter stage can provide an output frequency of up to 1600 Hz, offering enough range for compatible high-speed motors, while the continuous motor phase current is limited to 4.0 A. When connected to a suitable motor, the drive supports mechanical loads up to 0.75 kW of shaft power and delivers 1.6 kVA of apparent power at the terminals. The trip current is set at 8.6 A, allowing upstream protective devices to be selected for the application. The drive does not have an internal braking transistor or an integrated RFI filter, so dynamic braking and electromagnetic interference mitigation require external components. This basic version also lacks a motor temperature sensor input, and motor thermal protection must therefore be provided separately when the application requires it.

The drive uses Housing Type A, and its enclosure measures 76 × 191 × 144 mm. It weighs 1.1 kg, which limits the mechanical load placed on DIN-rail or back-panel mounting hardware. The compact enclosure requires sufficient clearance for wiring, ventilation, and access to the connection terminals. The aluminum heat sink may reach 95 °C before the drive begins to derate, so unobstructed airflow must be maintained around the cooling fins. Internal electronic protection monitors the drive itself for excessive temperature during operation. External thermal monitoring can be added at the motor when the connected equipment needs direct winding-temperature protection.
