The 09.F0.R01-3479 is a compact control cabinet produced by KEB as part of the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. The unit integrates a drive stage, fusing, and discharge circuitry within one enclosure. It provides variable-speed control for fractional-to-medium-horsepower induction motors used in conveyors, small pumps, and indexing fixtures on automated production lines.

The drive section delivers a continuous output of 2.8 kVA, while its power stage can operate motors rated up to 1.5 kW. Internal electronics are protected by an enclosure that meets the IP20 rating, which guards against finger contact but requires installation inside a larger panel or closed machine frame. A dedicated supply branch must include a 0.4 A time-lag control fuse; its slow-blow characteristic tolerates inrush from the cabinet's relays and capacitors without nuisance tripping. After mains power is removed, the DC-link capacitors discharge to a safe touch voltage within 5 minutes, allowing safe access to the enclosure after the required waiting period. The cabinet must stand upright because its vertical installation orientation allows cooling air to rise through the heat sink channels and maintain acceptable semiconductor temperatures.

Altitude and installation clearances affect the cabinet's thermal performance. Operation at elevations up to 3000 m above sea level is permitted, but output current must be reduced by 1% per 100 m above 1000 m to compensate for lower air density. When the cabinet is mounted inside a machine, at least 50 mm of space is required on each side so that air can circulate freely. Cooling air must enter and exit through vertical paths with a clear span of 100 mm above and below the housing. The specified spacing prevents surrounding components or enclosure surfaces from obstructing the airflow through the cabinet.
