09.F0.200-3429 by KEB

The 09.F0.200-3429 is a drive cabinet assembled by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It serves as a self-contained variable-frequency inverter package that converts fixed three-phase mains power into regulated output for small AC motors in material-handling and light process equipment. Internal power sections rectify the incoming supply, store energy in a DC bus, and feed an IGBT bridge so plant controllers can command precise acceleration, deceleration, and continuous operating speeds for automated machinery.

The inverter delivers a rated output current of 7.0 A with a continuous apparent power of 2.8 kVA. It can raise the motor field frequency to 408 Hz, supporting applications that require operation above synchronous speed while respecting the maximum motor power of 1.5 kW. The DC link has an overvoltage trip point of 400 VDC and an undervoltage shutdown point of 250 VDC. Primary circuit protection is provided by a 20 A mains fuse, a 16 A fast-acting intermediate-circuit fuse, and a 0.4 A time-delay fuse for the control electronics. At a switching frequency of 4 kHz, the power stage dissipates 70 W of heat, and the printed circuit assembly has an overtemperature threshold of 70 °C. Wiring must have a cross-sectional area of at least 2.5 mm² to keep conductor heating within acceptable limits. The cabinet supports relative humidity levels up to 95% without condensation.

The maximum ambient operating temperature is 45 °C, so the cabinet requires sufficient ventilation to keep internal components within their permitted thermal range. Installation is permitted at altitudes up to 3000 m, allowing use in facilities located well above sea level. The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, which prevents fingers from contacting live components when the cabinet door is closed. Proper airflow must be maintained around the cabinet so heat can escape without raising the printed circuit assembly above its alarm threshold.
