The 176F3020 is a dedicated power card produced by Danfoss for the VLT PowerCards series. Installed on the power section of high-capacity VLT drives, the board distributes rectified DC energy, houses gating circuits for the IGBT modules, and manages current feedback channels. In industrial automation, it supports the output stage of a variable frequency drive used for conveyors, pumps, or ventilators. Because it bridges the rectifier and inverter, its integrity is essential for maintaining commanded motor speed and torque profiles.

Rated for a voltage class of 500 V, the card matches drives that operate from standard 460 V mains and keeps insulation stresses within limits. Its 12-Pulse topology works with dual diode bridges and a phase-shifting transformer, which lowers input harmonics and reduces the size of external filters. When fitted, the module allows the inverter to deliver up to 450 kW of mechanical power to connected motors, so thermal paths on the board are sized for heavy load.
