The 131G0468 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It is used to regulate fan and pump motors in building climate systems, where variable speed control can improve airflow management and reduce energy use. Instead of running motors only at full speed, it adjusts output frequency and voltage so airflow and water circulation can follow actual building demand. This makes the unit suitable for air handlers, circulating pumps, and similar HVAC equipment installed in automated building systems. It can also reduce mechanical stress on driven equipment by allowing acceleration and operating speed to match system demand.

The drive is rated for 18.5 kW, which is approximately 25 HP of motor output. It accepts a supply of 380-480 VAC on a three-phase power network and has an enclosure rating of IP20 / Chassis for protected indoor cabinet use. This enclosure style is intended for installation inside a control panel rather than direct exposure to dust, water spray, or outdoor conditions. The design does not include a brake chopper, so applications that need regenerative stopping require external braking hardware. Operator interaction is provided through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which offers text-based menus, trending, and manual run keys. The keypad also supports day-to-day monitoring because operating values and messages are shown directly at the cabinet door. Conducted emissions are reduced by the integral RFI filter, which helps the drive operate on shared electrical distribution systems with less line-borne interference. Installation uses normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, which supports standard enclosed panel layouts and orderly cable routing. These features support routine setup and operation without adding external interface hardware for basic local control.
