The 131X6123 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the FC 111 Flow Drives series. It is installed between the line supply and a three-phase induction motor to adjust speed in pumping or ventilation loops, providing flow control without mechanical throttling. Its operating role is to vary motor frequency and voltage so the connected process can respond smoothly to changing demand. The open-frame housing is intended for control cabinet installation in utility plants, treatment stations, and general process lines where stable pressure or level regulation is needed.

The drive provides a continuous output of 42.5 A and accepts a line supply of 3 × 380–480 V AC. Peak efficiency reaches 97.9 %, and the unit is rated for 22 kW motor duty. Front-side protection is IP20, and the enclosure includes a back plate for direct mounting. No brake unit is integrated, so dynamic stopping energy must be handled by external hardware. A reinforced coating helps resist airborne moisture in plant rooms, and A1 (C2) RFI filtering is fitted for EMC class C2 compliance. No local control panel is supplied, so parameter access is handled through remote tools.

The housing footprint of 334 × 402 × 314 mm allows the drive to fit into standard motor control center sections without excessive depth. Wiring accepts conductors up to 16 mm², and the unit supports unshielded motor cable lengths up to 50 m when longer motor runs are required. Continuous input current reaches 41.5 A, which is useful when selecting upstream feeder protection and supply conductors. The H5 frame keeps the assembly compact for its power class, and the design omits a separate auxiliary supply to reduce internal complexity. The open format is better suited to protected cabinets than exposed field mounting, which helps keep wiring organized in compact panels.
