By linking directly to automation controllers, it helps reduce energy consumption and improves process accuracy in industrial plants.

The drive accepts a three-phase input of 3 × 380-480 V AC at the standard 50/60 Hz line frequency, eliminating manual tap changes when power sources vary. Under continuous operation, it draws up to 4.7 A, and this figure is used when sizing circuit protection on the mains side. On the output side, the inverter delivers 5.3 A continuously at 40 °C and can supply 5.8 A for sixty seconds, providing short bursts of extra torque during startup or pressure spikes. A power module rated at 2.2 kW links these currents to common pump motor sizes, while synthesized frequency spans 0-500 Hz so the same unit handles both slow priming and high-speed purging. The H2 frame keeps cabinet depth modest, the absence of a Local Control Panel leaves the front clear for fieldbus options, and no auxiliary power input is required because the control electronics feed from the internal DC link.

The enclosure carries a IP20 rating with a dedicated back plate, so it must sit inside a control cabinet while still permitting finger-safe maintenance. A reinforced coating protects circuit boards against moisture and process chemicals, and the design omits an internal brake unit to minimize heat. Electromagnetic emission complies with class A1 (C2), allowing direct connection to industrial mains without extra filters. A net mass of only 3.7 kg simplifies rail or back-panel mounting while the drive maintains full current at ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
