The 175Z0401 operator interface is supplied by Danfoss within the Danfoss Cables and Accessories series. It is a detachable local control panel for VLT variable frequency drives, providing parameter entry, status display, and direct navigation through drive menus. The module can be mounted directly on the drive or positioned remotely, letting users review operating values and change settings from a more accessible location. This arrangement supports routine interaction with the drive without requiring a separate programming device for basic access.

Visualization is provided by a backlit LCD arranged as a 4-line readout, allowing several values to remain visible at the same time. The panel includes an active setup display function that shows which parameter set is currently controlling the drive, which helps reduce unintended edits to the wrong setup. Direction feedback is shown by an arrow symbol that indicates forward or reverse rotation, so motor status can be checked from the front of the enclosure. When used with the optional remote-mount kit, the interface can be placed up to 3 m from the drive, which helps when the converter is installed inside a protected cabinet.

For field wiring convenience, the module is supplied as a detachable panel that can be removed after setup to limit unauthorized changes. During operation it can display up to 4 simultaneous measurements, including values such as output frequency, motor current, DC bus voltage, and temperature, so several key conditions can be reviewed without constant menu scrolling. Diagnostic status covers 3 operating conditions—alarm, warning, and trip—which makes fault identification easier from the display itself. The accessory is intended for IP20 units only, matching housings that rely on cabinet airflow for cooling.
