The 130B9081 accessory is supplied by Danfoss within the Danfoss Cables and Accessories series. It is a pre-wired terminal module intended for use with variable frequency drives and building automation controllers. The unit organizes fixed I/O points for permissive, emergency, and maintenance functions so that panel builders can integrate fan, pump, or compressor drives without constructing separate relay banks. In an industrial cabinet, the module converts field contacts into logic-level signals the drive recognizes, allowing standardized safety and bypass strategies across multiple installations.

The all-switch delay is set to 15 s, meaning every monitored switch must remain in its commanded state for that duration before the module passes the signal through, which filters out contact bounce. The automatic bypass feature can be tuned; it will not engage sooner than 30 s after a trigger and will abandon the bypass no later than 300 s afterward, providing a defined maintenance window. Field devices that energize the inputs may draw from the external contact supply rated at 24 VDC 2 A, so small actuators or indicator lamps can be powered directly. Drive fault status is returned through the relay connected to terminals X56-7/8/9, so a control system can log an alarm or illuminate a panel lamp without extra wiring.

Separate terminal groups streamline command routing. Firefighter override is wired to X55-7/8, letting building management systems force the drive to a predefined smoke-control speed. Remote start pulses applied at X55-3/4 initiate normal operation when upstream interlocks are ready. Continuous interlock feedback such as airflow proof is accepted on the run permissive pair X55-1/2, preventing the drive from running until external conditions are satisfied. For emergency stops, contacts on X55-5/6 remove the enable signal instantaneously, allowing safety systems to stop the motor without software intervention.
