The DMC Motion Controllers series is designed for managing torque, speed, and position across various industrial applications. Given their operation at high voltages, typically 230 or 400 VAC in three-phase configurations, proper grounding is crucial for safety reasons. Compliance with EMC guidelines, specifically EN50081-2 for emissions and EN50082-2 for immunity, is essential to guarantee safe operation. Additionally, to minimize radio interference, the series adheres to Class A digital device standards outlined by CISPR11. Using shielded cables is critical for maintaining these requirements, particularly in radio-sensitive environments. Users must configure these controllers appropriately before initiating operation. With built-in critical features, the controllers comply with EMC directives, minimizing interference impacts and ensuring safe, reliable use of nearby equipment.
