The Block I/O Analog Module series is designed to reliably and accurately connect analog signals with digital control systems. This series converts 14- or 16-bit analog input signals and offers adjustable +/-10V analog output signals using an orderly sampled A/D converter for each channel. Built specifically for harsh industrial environments, these modules ensure precise and dependable changes between analog and digital signals for various industrial uses. Input modules support voltage ranges of 5V or 10V at 14-bit resolution, offering separate voltage or current inputs. Shielded connections ensure strong signals and minimize noise, enhancing the overall reliability and allowing selectable input ranges for easy configuration. To ensure proper functionality, the output modules incorporate clamping diodes and capacitors, effectively managing inductive signals up to +/-10V. Each module is equipped internally with current sense resistors to accommodate 0-20mA and 4-20mA devices, alongside a high-impedance input suitable for low-voltage 24V DC control systems. A standard 24V supply powers the single-ended output signals, providing quick and straight-forward internal shielded connections for simplified set-up and maintenance.
