The XCS2-W0023ARN-02NX3T0NNET-S03RSN0NNNN0NN is a Generation 2 ctrlX DRIVE single-axis converter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XCS Single Axis CtrlX Converters series. It operates in the Standard runtime environment with DRIVE Runtime functional scope and is supplied in Version 03 as the current release. No additional design features are listed, and the unit is supplied without a panel, which keeps the power stage compact for cabinet-mounted machinery where one motor axis must be powered and regulated in industrial automation systems.
It accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × AC 200-500 V (±10%/-15%), allowing direct connection to 200 V, 400 V, or 480 V factory mains. Continuous output is limited to 23 A, while an integrated braking transistor and braking resistor dissipate surplus energy during rapid deceleration. Thermal load is removed by internal air cooling, which moves cabinet air across the heat sink. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so enclosure mounting is required and explains the absence of a motor connector set. Because the maximum output frequency is below 599 Hz, no export license is required. Hardware option 2 is not equipped, and control tasks are executed by the ctrlX DRIVEplus processor located on the power section.
Communication is provided by the ctrlX CORE platform, and fieldbus, cloud, and diagnostic protocols are loaded as applications to provide software-defined connectivity. The onboard Multi-Ethernet card supports EtherCAT, PROFINET, Sercos III, and Ethernet/IP without additional hardware. Functional safety is delivered through Hardware option 1 SafeMotion, enabling the certified Safe Torque Off (STO) channel that removes motor power up to SIL3/PLe. No Technology Function App is installed, leaving controller resources available for future axis-specific processes.
