Bosch Rexroth Indramat designed the VT 16000-2X-131-A servo amplifier for motion sequencing in hydraulic machinery. As a member of the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series, the unit converts numerical control commands into proportional valve signals while collecting sensor feedback. It supports synchronized multi-axis movements in presses, injection-molding machines, and machining centers within general industrial automation, allowing closed-loop position and pressure control across each slide.

The controller includes the COM252M configuration package, so parameters and cam tables can be edited over a serial link rather than through cabinet terminals. Internally, it assigns up to 32 cross-axis cams that allow one hydraulic axis to trigger timed actions on another. The hardware supports a maximum of 4 hydraulic axes through four available servo channels. The controller has 8 analog inputs for monitoring position, pressure, or temperature signals. Command signals are generated by four analog outputs, and the module also has eight digital inputs and eight digital outputs for limit switches, solenoids, or interlocks. Motion data enter the numerical control kernel through four high-resolution SSI encoder inputs. Machinery events are written in the DIN 66025 NC language, keeping the program syntax consistent with standard G-code.

The numerical control section can store up to 2000 NC sets, giving each machine cycle an individual motion profile without requiring external memory cards. Four peripheral module slots accept optional counters, pressure boards, or fieldbus adapters. An optional counter module provides 2 channels for speed or length measurement when incremental encoders are used. Axis feedback is flexible because the amplifier accepts analog, incremental, or SSI position signals. Hydraulic pressure is measured through an analog transducer input. These communication options allow the amplifier to exchange motion commands, operating states, and process data with the machine controller during coordinated hydraulic operation.
