VT 16000-2X-130-A by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The VT 16000-2X-130-A is a multi-axis servo amplifier produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series. It acts as the central motion controller in hydraulic machining or forming equipment and receives setpoints from higher-level PLCs. The amplifier drives proportional valves so that cylinders and rotary actuators follow programmed trajectories with millisecond precision.

The hardware platform provides mixed-signal expansion slots that accept a combination module with 8 AI / 4 AO for analog feedback and command loops, plus a digital module with 8 DI / 8 DO for binary sensors and interlocks. Up to 4 hydraulic axes can be controlled simultaneously in closed-loop operation, with each axis referenced to position tables stored internally. Program storage accommodates 2000 NC data sets, allowing large tool libraries or batch variants to be retained without external memory. Axis synchronization and cam switching are managed by the resident COM252M motion package, which evaluates up to 32 cross-axis electronic cams for coordinated press punches, pick-and-place heads, or packaging lines. At the core of each linear loop, the position regulator executes a PDT1 control law, while pressure regulation uses a PIDT1 algorithm; these control structures combine proportional terms with dynamic compensation to maintain accuracy during load spikes. A separate PI-based synchronizing controller aligns slave axes with master axes. The rack accepts four plug-in peripheral modules, including two counter inputs for incremental encoders and four SSI channels for absolute transducers.
