VT 16000-2X-130 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The VT 16000-2X-130 is a servo amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 1600 Servo Amplifiers series. In electrohydraulic automation, it drives proportional valves by shaping current according to a closed control loop, allowing stable pressure or position control. The card slides into a standard rack, supporting modular installation alongside compatible control hardware in industrial control cabinets.

The control circuit uses a PID network, and a built-in dither oscillator injects a 340 Hz signal to reduce valve hysteresis. The circuitry is arranged on a Euro Card measuring 100 × 160 mm, allowing the module to fit IEC subracks without additional adapters. Field wiring terminates at a rear 32-pin plug, keeping signal and power leads within a single connector. A faceplate-mounted ammeter displays the loop current without requiring an external meter. The front plate is 128 mm tall, aligning the card with adjacent modules in the rack. The feedback electronics operate without an LVDT pickup, making the card suitable for valves that provide internal position balancing. The component side of the printed circuit board occupies seven rack divisions, while the overall width is eight divisions to provide clearance for the card guide.

Trim potentiometers provide three field adjustments for gain, dither amplitude, and offset. The assembly weighs 0.15 kg, which limits the load placed on card locks in high-vibration cabinets. An onboard relay with a coil resistance of 2000 ? switches the power stage. Its armature has a return time of 1 ms, supporting rapid hydraulic transitions. Track spacing on the solder side is 5.08 mm to maintain suitable electrical clearance for the operating voltage, while the relay, potentiometers, and passive components are arranged so the card can be removed without disturbing adjacent hardware.
