The VDP Screen Panel Series, manufactured by Rexroth Indramat Bosch, is a passive operator terminal that, when installed in a control cabinet, transforms into a PC-based operator terminal. The VDP Series comes in two configurations: some are designed as control cabinet PCs, while others are designed for external mounting on a cabinet or bracket. All data is transferred from the VDP Screen Panel to the control cabinet PC via the CDI Interface, which is pre-programmed into each VDP unit.
