The SM Servo Module Series, manufactured by Rexroth, Indramat, and Bosch, is designed to optimize the performance of brushless servo motors. Each module can be connected to a single supply module, with up to ten modules supported depending on the size of the supply module. The modules must be installed in a switch cabinet that allows for unobstructed airflow to prevent overheating. When used with rotor position recognition and brushless tacho functionality, the SM Servo Modules can regulate the motor's torque and speed in real-time.
