The RLC1-143GDB is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a member of the RLC1 Motor Power Cables series. It is intended to link servo drives to synchronous or induction motors, transmitting three-phase power and auxiliary signals required for closed-loop automation. The cable's mechanical and electrical parameters are matched to the manufacturer's drive systems, so it can route energy between cabinet-mounted inverters and moving axes while maintaining predictable impedance and thermal performance. Its conductor coding mirrors the numbering scheme used throughout the series, making spare-part identification more straightforward during maintenance.

At the core of this assembly are 4 power conductors, each with a cross-section of 6.0 mm², which is equivalent to 10 AWG copper. This geometry allows a continuous current of 38.2 A without exceeding the permissible temperature rise of the insulation class. The current rating aligns with the continuous output of mid-frame 400 V inverters and supports extended acceleration phases without unnecessary derating. To support brake release, thermal sensors, or feedback electronics, the sheath also carries auxiliary conductors arranged as 4x 1.0 mm² + 2x 1.5 mm². These balanced conductor sets help limit voltage drop over long runs and support stable motor torque during dynamic duty cycles.

The cable can be installed up to 75 m between the drive and motor when the selected output filter meets drive recommendations. At the motor end, the molded circular fitting uses an M40 thread and employs double clamping to secure the braid and individual cores against vibration. The threaded coupling also helps keep the screen bond intact for low-impedance grounding at the machine frame. The external jacket uses a basic design level, so no additional armor or liquid-tight corrugation is included and routing should avoid sharp edges and continuously flexing chains.
