The RLC1-123ECB is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RLC1 Motor Power Cables series. It transfers drive output to the stator windings of synchronous or asynchronous motors in automated equipment. The cable is intended for applications with continuous movement in drag chains or robotic axes, where stable current transfer and repeated flexing are both required for reliable operation. In this role, the cable must carry motor current without sacrificing flexibility, because electrical load and bending stress act on the same assembly at the same time.

It uses conductors rated at 14 AWG, which corresponds to a cross-section of 2.5 mm², and it supports a continuous load of 22.6 A during motor power transmission. The finely stranded construction allows the assembly to endure up to 5,000,000 bending cycles in dynamic cable carriers. Fine stranding also helps reduce conductor fatigue when the cable reverses direction repeatedly inside a carrier system. During motion, the cable should be routed with a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D so mechanical stress stays low across the insulation and conductor bundle. This routing approach helps the cable remain suitable for repetitive travel on servo axes with frequent movement.

For fixed installation, the allowable bend radius is 5 × D. A molded M23 connector at the motor end provides a keyed interface that mates directly with compatible Rexroth servomotor receptacles, and the direct motor-to-drive connection avoids the need for intermediate terminal blocks in the power circuit. The keyed connector also helps preserve correct phase connection at the motor interface during installation. Service temperatures range from -30 °C at cold startup to 80 °C during continuous operation, covering typical factory conditions. That operating window supports use in areas that see cold starts as well as sustained heat during normal machine cycles.
