The cable delivers power and protective earth from a frequency inverter to a compact synchronous motor and is intended for dynamic drag-chain routing in automated handling equipment. By pairing a fixed conductor layout with an abrasion-resistant outer jacket, the assembly supports repeatable motion cycles while maintaining stable electrical parameters for servo control. The cable has a service life of 5,000,000 bending cycles, indicating the number of full flex motions it can withstand before conductor fatigue becomes critical. It uses four tinned copper cores in a 4 x 0.75 mm² cross-section, which keeps conductor resistance low while allowing a slim bundle diameter that fits narrow energy chains. During permanent installation, the copper can heat to 90 °C, so the insulation is rated for that fixed condition. For routing in static trays, the bend limit relaxes to a 5 × D radius, allowing tighter cabinet wiring than the dynamic figure. The orange PUR (Orange RAL 2003) sheath resists oil, coolant spray, and UV exposure, so the cable can traverse open machine sections without additional conduit. During flex operation, the conductor temperature must remain below 80 °C, a threshold chosen to balance copper longevity with the thermal behavior of the PUR compound and internal fillers.
