The RLC1-121BGB cable is part of the RLC1 Motor Power Cables series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a pre-assembled power link intended to carry drive output to ML3 servo motors in automated stations. Within the drive system, the cable closes the path between the inverter and the motor, so it serves as the dedicated power branch while feedback lines are routed separately. This arrangement helps keep motor power and signal wiring clearly separated in compact machine layouts. Because the power branch is preconfigured for this application, it helps reduce wiring variation between the drive cabinet and the motor. It is used where consistent motor power delivery is needed during indexing, positioning, and other repeated axis movements.

This model is supplied as a ready-made assembly, eliminating field crimping and shielding work. Internally, the bundle contains 4 conductors, and each core has a cross-section of 0.75 mm², which balances flexibility with acceptable voltage drop over typical machine lengths. The copper mass supports a continuous phase load of 10.4 A, so the lead can service low-to-medium power axes without overheating. During motion sequences, the cable may travel through energy chains, and its dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D sets the minimum bend for moving installation. Factory-fitted ends also keep the shield braid and conductor layout consistent from one connection point to the other. That arrangement supports repeatable installation quality and avoids mismatched shielding terminations that can affect servo system performance.

For stationary wiring, the static bending limit is 5 × D, allowing tighter routing inside panels without overstressing the insulation. Machine-side termination uses an M23 double-clamping plug that secures both the outer jacket and the shield, which helps support EMC performance near servo amplifiers. The double-clamping style keeps the connection mechanically secure where vibration and repeated movement are present. Mechanical durability is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, supporting repeated carriage travel over long operating periods. The cable can also be routed in fixed cabinet sections before it transitions into a moving machine run. The assembly mates directly with the IndraDrive interface, keeping it distinct from feedback and brake lines within the same harness group.
