Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the RLC1-015BAB motor power cable for the RLC1 Motor Power Cables series. This cable carries three-phase motor power from compatible drive controllers to servo motors in automated machinery. It is intended for applications that need stable current transmission between the drive and the motor during continuous machine operation. Its layout emphasizes consistent conductor geometry and the mechanical flexibility needed for routing inside cabinets and drag chains.

The conductor set is arranged as 4x L + 2x 0.14 mm², which provides the motor power conductors together with two auxiliary conductors for temperature sensing. A nominal sheath diameter of 12.2 mm keeps the cable compact while preserving the copper cross-section needed for rated motor current. The outer jacket is made of PUR (Orange RAL 2003), which resists oil and abrasion and makes the cable easy to identify along the machine. The motor end uses a pre-fitted M23 circular connector that mates directly with the motor housing. In fixed installation, the conductors can withstand up to +90 °C, and the cable uses a fixed bend radius of 5 × D. In energy-chain service, a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D is required to reduce conductor fatigue during repeated movement.

The cable's distributed capacitance is held to 0.4 nF/m, which helps limit reactive current and supports stable drive output over longer cable runs. It is compatible with IndraDrive/ IndraDrive C/ IndraDrive Mi drive families and with ML3 Motors, so it can be used with the intended controller and motor combination without adapter changes at the motor end. The assembly is a basic-design power cable and is free of CFCs, halogens, and silicone. Flame-retardant behavior without halogens supports EN 61034 smoke requirements. The PUR jacket remains elastic in cabinet environments where the conductors may reach +80 °C during dynamic bending.
