The RLB3-086JEB is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RLB Motor Power Cables series. It links MS2(X) servo motors to EFC inverters in automated machinery, carrying three-phase power and protective earth conductors from the control cabinet to a terminal-box connection on the motor. The cable can be used in cable tracks or in stationary routing, so it fits machines with either moving axes or fixed motor installations. Its purpose is limited to power transmission, making it separate from any dedicated feedback cable that may also be required on the axis.

The conductors are sized at 6 AWG, which corresponds to 16.0 mm² of copper cross-section. The cable has a rated current of 71.3 A, which suits medium-frame synchronous motor applications without excessive conductor heating under normal operating conditions. A distributed capacitance of 0.6 nF/m helps limit reactive loading at the inverter output, especially at higher switching frequencies. The outer sheath is made of PUR, which provides abrasion resistance and oil tolerance in factory environments. For fixed installation, the jacket can be routed with a static bend radius of 5 × D without overstressing the insulation. The conductor set uses four power conductors and four 1.5 mm² auxiliary leads in a symmetrical layout that supports orderly routing inside the cable.

For dynamic use, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles when installed in a chain with a bend radius of 7.5 × D. Its outer diameter is 25.5 mm, which supports compact routing through drag-chain separators and cabinet entries while still leaving room for the internal conductor bundle. Motor termination uses a M40 threaded coupling for Terminal Box T, providing secure strain relief and protective grounding continuity at the connection point. This assembly carries motor power conductors and auxiliary leads only, and it does not include encoder or brake cores.
