RLB2-125JEB by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RLB2-125JEB is a motor power cable assembled by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RLB Motor Power Cables series. Designed as part of the Rexroth Cables product group, it routes three-phase energy together with auxiliary sensor or brake lines between control cabinets and machine-mounted synchronous motors. Four primary conductors and four smaller auxiliaries are combined in one jacket, giving a protected, pre-terminated connection from the cabinet side to the motor housing. This arrangement reduces the number of separate cable runs between the drive and the motor and keeps power and auxiliary conductors within one outer jacket.

At its core, the cable carries four 16.0 mm² copper conductors that can deliver up to 71.3 A continuously at the motor terminals. The insulation system is rated for 600/1000 V, so it matches the output stage of low-voltage servo drives. In fixed installation, the outer sheath may be bent to 5 x D without stressing the cores, and the molded motor plug uses a M50 thread that mates directly with the housing feed-through on Rexroth machines. The basic cable design follows the 4x L + 4x 1.5 mm² layout, giving separate auxiliary paths for brake or temperature sensor signals. An E-coded terminal-box connector is supplied on the controller side, and the colored sheath simplifies tracing inside cable trays.

In dynamic cable chains, the minimum loop is 7.5 x D, aided by a finely stranded construction that limits conductor fatigue. Thermal limits differ with mounting style: flexible runs are allowed up to 80 °C, whereas fixed routing can tolerate 90 °C before insulation aging accelerates. The PUR jacket in orange RAL 2003 resists oils, slag, and abrasion, so the cable remains serviceable in press, handling, and packaging lines that use ctrlX DRIVE amplifiers. It also matches the mechanical interfaces of the MS2(X) motor family and the routing practices used for these cable assemblies.
