The RLB2-064LEB cable is a motor power connection produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RLB Motor Power Cables series. It links MS2(X) synchronous motors to ctrlX DRIVE controllers by carrying three-phase power between the drive cabinet and the motor. The cable is intended for moving-axis installations, so its materials and geometry support long service life in dynamic energy-chain applications inside automated production cells. It is used where cabinet-mounted drives feed power to moving servo axes without a separate junction point in the cable run.

Inside its cable design, a copper conductor with a cross-section of 35 mm² helps keep voltage drop low over typical routing lengths. At the motor end, an M58 circular connector mates directly with the MS2 housing, while the opposite end is prepared for drive-side terminals, allowing a direct motor-to-drive connection without an intermediate junction. Continuous motion is supported by a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D, and during installation the static radius may be reduced to 5 × D because the cable is not under cyclic stress. The jacket and insulation are rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, which suits high-duty gantry, pick-and-place, and palletizer axes that move in every production cycle. This layout supports repeated flexing while maintaining a consistent electrical path between the controller and motor.

The cable remains flexible from -30 °C up to an operating ceiling of 80 °C, so temperature changes in unconditioned plant areas do not compromise flexibility or dielectric strength. It is qualified for use with ctrlX DRIVE inverters and the matching MS2(X) motor series, which supports direct integration across multi-axis machines. Matching storage and operating temperature ranges help protect the jacket and insulation when the cable is stored between installations. Its sheath layout also supports stable electrical continuity and electromagnetic compatibility during regular machine motion in automated equipment.
