The RLB2-064HDB motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RLB Motor Power Cables series. This flexible connection links MS2(X) synchronous motors to in-cabinet inverters, carrying phase and auxiliary power through a single cable assembly. Its basic design supports a direct motor-to-drive connection, which reduces the need for junction boxes and helps keep routing compact in automated cells and handling modules. The cable is intended for installations where repeated motion and limited cabinet space make a combined power cable easier to route than separate conductors.

Its conductors use a cross-section of 10 mm², providing low resistance for high current flow between the inverter and motor. The internal bundle follows the pattern 4x L + 4x 1.0 mm² + 2x 1.5 mm², so motor phases, a protective conductor, sensor supply lines, and brake leads share one outer jacket. During continuous motion in an energy chain, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles when the route maintains a dynamic bend radius of 7.5×D; fixed installation permits a tighter minimum bend radius of 5×D. These bend limits help protect the copper strands and maintain stable electrical performance during repeated motion.

The cable tolerates temperatures from -30 °C in storage up to 80 °C during operation, allowing use in cold storage areas, heated cabinets, and other industrial environments within that range. A molded M58 motor connector mates directly with compatible MS2(X) stator sockets, so the motor end does not require field crimping and the strain relief stays integrated with the assembly. When used with the ctrlX DRIVE family, the cable carries motor power together with auxiliary circuits in one jacket, which helps reduce separate wiring runs inside the cabinet and keeps the motor connection straightforward.
