The RLB2-063KEB cable is a power transmission line manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RLB Motor Power Cables series. It links MS2 synchronous motors to their matching ctrlX DRIVE inverters, carrying three-phase energy without signal conductors. The cable serves motion axes that need frequent flexing inside drag chains or articulating carriers while keeping electrical losses low and maintaining standardized mechanical interfaces in automated machinery. Its power-only layout keeps the assembly focused on motor supply where feedback is carried on a separate connection.

The jacket withstands 5,000,000 bending cycles so it can operate in high-duty dynamic tracks without early fatigue. To avoid conductor stress, installation rules specify a 7.5 x D dynamic bend radius during motion and a tighter 5 x D static bend radius for fixed routing. Current is carried through copper cores with a power wire cross-section of 25 mm², balancing ampacity with a manageable outer diameter in the basic cable design. A factory-terminated M58 connector mates directly to A-coded or B-coded motor plugs, allowing a direct connection route from drive to motor with no intermediate terminal box. Because it is a pure power cable, feedback pairs are omitted. This arrangement avoids extra junction points along the cable run.

Thermal capability ranges from -30 °C during cold storage up to +80 °C in active service, enabling use beside warm servo housings or inside chilled production rooms. Electrical compatibility is aligned with ctrlX DRIVE controllers, meaning the insulation and shielding match the pulse-width-modulated output profile of that inverter family. On the load side, the leads are dimensioned for the stall and peak currents drawn by MS2(X) motors. The A/B plug coding keeps the motor-end interface matched to the intended connector style and helps prevent cross-series mismatch.
