The RL2-563JBB power lead is part of the RL2 Motor Power Cables series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. This cable is intended for machine-mounted routing between an IndraDrive servo inverter and a synchronous motor, delivering three-phase power together with auxiliary cores for sensor reference. Within automated handling, packaging, and machining stations, its function is to maintain consistent conduction under continuous motion while fitting the physical interfaces used in Rexroth drive assemblies. The combined power and auxiliary paths allow one cable run to support motor operation while keeping routing compact in moving machine sections.

Mechanical endurance is established at 5 million flex cycles, making the cable suitable for energy-chain or torsion applications. The cable uses a 4×16 mm² + 4×0.75 mm² conductor layout that separates power conductors from auxiliary cores. A dynamic bending radius of 7.5×D must be observed during installation in moving axes to prevent shield or insulation fatigue. When the cable moves, the copper can operate up to 80 °C. In fixed routing, the limit rises to 90 °C. The outer jacket uses PUR (RAL 2003), a polyurethane compound that resists oil, abrasion, and weld splatter. The sheath is also halogen-free, so combustion gases remain lower in corrosive content if the cable is exposed to flame, and the jacket surface remains suitable for repeated motion in industrial cable carriers.

The motor end is fitted with an M58 connector that mates with MS2x with plug A/B motors of the 2nd generation. A static bending radius of 5×D applies once the harness is clamped, helping the cable hold its shape in fixed sections near the motor or cabinet entry. The overall copper cross section of 16.0 mm² supports the peak phase currents required by medium-frame servo units. By carrying power and auxiliary circuits in the same assembly, the cable reduces the need for separate runs between the inverter and the motor and helps keep motion-axis wiring orderly along articulated machine paths.
