The RL2-563HBB is an extension-type motor power cable assembled by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It links 2nd-generation Rexroth servo motors to their drive controllers, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary signals through a single jacket. The extension layout provides added reach between the motor and the drive without separating the power and signal paths. Because the auxiliary circuits are already included, the cable can serve the motor connection with one routed assembly. This arrangement suits automated machinery where continuous motion, frequent flexing, and compact routing require a dedicated cable rather than loose conductors.

The cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing use in high-duty cable tracks. Its conductor set uses 4 x 10.0 mm² + 2 x 1.0 mm² + 2 x 1.5 mm², with the four larger cores carrying motor power and the smaller pairs carrying brake and temperature signals. During movement, the cable can bend to a minimum dynamic radius of 7.5 × D without overstressing the conductors or insulation. The outer jacket is an orange PUR jacket (RAL 2003), which resists oil and abrasion in moving assemblies. Leakage capacitance is limited to 0.5 nF/m, which helps reduce common-mode noise and supports stable operation on longer runs. That combination supports continuous axis motion in applications with repeated acceleration and deceleration.

The motor end uses an M58 (A/B) motor plug, allowing direct connection to compatible Rexroth power modules. The cable has an outer diameter of 22.2 mm, so it fits most drag-chain separators while still accommodating the larger power cores. The circular form helps distribute bending forces evenly as the cable moves through chain links and entry glands. The power conductors are rated for 600/1000 V, while the signal conductors carry up to 450/750 V in the same sheath. For fixed installation, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, which makes cabinet entry routing easier. Keeping power and auxiliary conductors in one sheath helps routing through confined machine sections.
