RL2-145JBB by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RL2-145JBB motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. It links 2nd-generation servomotors to IndraDrive power stages through a direct connection, carrying four load conductors and auxiliary signal pairs between the drive and a C-style terminal box on the machine. This arrangement lets one cable assembly handle motor power and related auxiliary circuits instead of requiring separate cable runs. In automated lines, the cable can be routed in energy chains or fixed dress-outs while transferring phase current and related signals along the motion axis.

It carries four power cores with a copper cross-section of 16.0 mm², suitable for the current drawn by high-torque axes. The insulation is rated at 600/1000 V for power conductors and 450/750 V for paired signals, so control and load lines can share one sheath. A dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D supports chain routing, and the cable is rated for 5 million flex cycles. Leakage capacitance of 0.6 nF/m limits reactive current and helps reduce unwanted coupling effects in the cable run. The cable uses a 4×L + 4×0.75 mm² layout with two shielded auxiliary pairs, and a C (M50) terminal box is used for the motor connection. This combined layout keeps routing compact between the drive cabinet and the motor.

The outer jacket is made of abrasion-resistant PUR and is finished in Orange (RAL 2003) for clear voltage identification. During installation, the static bend allowance of 5 × D helps preserve conductor geometry after the cable is clamped in place. The jacket material supports repeated movement against guides, carriers, and mounting surfaces in industrial machines. The direct drive interface and dedicated load cores suit compatible 2nd-generation motors, while the additional internal pairs can be used for holding-brake or sensor circuits when those connections are needed.
