The RL2-105FBB is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It belongs to the RL2 Motor Power Cables series. The cable links second-generation synchronous motors to their drives, carrying three-phase power and feedback conductors in automated machines, conveyors, and packaging lines. Its combined conductor set helps reduce separate cable runs on moving axes where continuous motion and high cycle counts place demanding loads on cable routing.

This cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles and withstands a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D, so energy-chain or drag-chain routing does not accelerate fatigue. A torsional allowance of ±30°/m lets the assembly follow rotary axes without core damage. The cable uses a basic design that groups four power leads with four 0.75 mm² signal pairs inside a common shield and terminates in a T (M32) terminal-box connector sized for the second motor generation. The PUR jacket resists oils and weld spatter while keeping the orange RAL 2003 color visible in cable carriers. During motion, copper conductors remain within 80 °C, and the outer sheath tolerates flexible-use temperatures from -20 to +60 °C. Static installation permits a 5 × D bend radius and ambient lows of -30 °C, while power circuits may be energized up to 600/1000 V.

When the route is fixed, the insulation system supports a conductor temperature of 90 °C, and the sheath is rated for surroundings from -30 to +80 °C. A cross section of 4.0 mm² helps limit voltage drop at typical motor currents, while the signal cores carry encoder or brake data with a separate limit of 450/750 V to avoid dielectric stress. The rugged PUR (orange RAL 2003) jacket resists coolant, and the internal conductor arrangement allows reliable clamping in machine trays without distorting the shield braid.
